I ran into a kid whowas selling homemade "Chinese Throwing Stars". They were made out of paper and it must have been something he learned how to do bya friend or something. He had to have been atleast 7 or 8 years old but one of the reasons as to why the kid inspired me is because what he was doin at that age making something and sellin it reminded meof how i was when i was little on how i am at this age right now. How i am making music and trying to sell or share it with the world.
that kid as well as i - all we need is someone to inspire us. The cooleds thing that really hit my heart is that the kid was selling the chinese stars for like 25 cents per star. Oh how i wanted to dive in my pockets and give him all money but i was down to my last dime, but so eager t inspire the kid...... i went into my back pack and gave him all my quarters which also happened to be my bus fair through the week cause my car has been broke down for the pass 3 months. But i said the heck with it. Giving this kid encouragement rigfht now felt more important than getting to work.....but luckliy for me it was an off day and i knew when it came doiwnto gettin to work i would somehow find a ride.
So I bought about 3 dollars woirth a chinese stars and as soon as i thought i had bought all of the kis stars he brought out more and i had to tell him that i was fresh out of money. if i had 10 dollars i would have bought his company of chinese stars lol. But that or this is where an inovative mind starts. as a kid and i am a big kid as well i remember when my twin brother and i were younger and we used to make amateur concerts for our family members to come watch us perform in the living room or selling books that had drawing we made to our mom and sister. I mean kids are the future and yo have to feed that imagination in them
i hope in some way i was force in the kids life.....didnt get a name or anything but it wasnt the point- the point was to add to his drive or his effort....you never know..... he could be the next bill gates or something..... all i know is that as he was walkin out i saw the kid meet up with his dad and his dad looked surprised and asif he was asking where did you get all that money from. The kid then pointed to me and he waved both him and his father and the father smiled as if he already knew whaty i was doing i smiled and waved back. With sense of accomplishent in my heart and hand full of chinese throwing stars that i completely had no use for.
Now as i pass the chinese stars in my apartment as they lay there with no purpose. People may think that they dont do anything but they are great for they are a reminder to me to remain as kid and to stay inspired and it is through that i will always be able to reach and inspire those who are just like me wheter young or old. How i thank God for puttingme in that situation i truly understand and hold more of a belief to that saying "that everything happens for a reason and ur put places and in peoples life for a reason" i was suppose to be there at that mcdonalds for that specific reason!!!!
